About this project
Hakuu House carries the finish it is named after across a full gable, under a band of timber-mullioned glazing with a slatted vent tucked into the ridge. Below the glass, the black oil coating lets silvery grain streak through the char.
The brushed and coated version of Hakuu suits projects that want the traditional black with a more uniform, low-sheen surface. Completed in 2022, the build is timber through and through.
